Project Description

After a Boeing 767 hit the World Trade Centre’s North Tower in 2001, a Guide Dog called Roselle calmly guided her owner, Michael, to safety. Step by step, Roselle led Michael down 1,400 steps through air thick with dust, oppressive heat and nauseating jet fuel fumes.

Every breath was a struggle. It took 50 torturous minutes to reach the ground and another 10 to find their way out of the building. Michael survived America’s deadliest terror attack, thanks to a yellow Labrador who never gave up.

Read Michael’s story from the “60 Tails” book
